BIlly Gibson

Mr. Billy Gibson, age 81 of Rockwood, formerly of Texas and Missouri, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Billy was born on June 22, 1944, in Glasgow, KY. He was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served. He was also the commander of the Harriman American Legion Post #53. He an avid classic car and truck fanatic, and was a part of several local clubs in their time living here in East Tennessee. Most of all, Billy loved karaoke. You would find him somewhere singing 5 out of the 7 nights a week. He was known for his performance skills and for his love of singing. After his first heart attack many years ago, he always said that once he got better, he was going to sing. Once he recovered, the rest is history. He would bring his gear and set up karaoke across various spots across Tennessee. Billy made many friends through his time singing at the local VFW and other organizations and he loved each and every one he came across. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ray Gibson & Dorothy Mae GIbson; and his son: Wade Gibson. He is survived by:
