Mr. Jeffrey C. Ables, age 65 of Rockwood, passed away on Sunday, February 23rd, 2026. He was born on October 7th, 1960. He worked as a heavy machine operator. He loved playing cards with his closest friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents: Cleave Abels Jr & Phyliss Nealon McGhee; grandparents: Albert Lee "Jabbo" Nealon & Mary Elizabeth Nealon; Uncle: Donald Ray Nealon; and cousins: David Wayne Nealon and Kelly Knox. He is survived by:

Stepdaughter and caregiver: Christina Miller

Special Aunt: Maymie Ruth Nealon

Special Cousins: Tara Seth, Donnie Ray Nealon Jr (Alice), David Travis Nealon (Tina), Dean Perry, Barbara Knox, Sandra Knox, and Felicia Nealon.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, from 1:00-2:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm ET. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
