Louise Butler

Louise Butler, age 94 of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 13th, 2026. She was born on March 19th, 1931. She was a member of the Eureka Baptist Church in Rockwood. She worked for many years with the Roane County School system as a cafeteria worker. Before working with the schools, she had helped work as a seamstress. She is preceded in death by her husband: Bill Butler; parents: Ira Carter & Claudia Carter; and her siblings: Escue Carter, Geneva Richardson, Wilma Hembree, and Nelma Carter. She is survived by:

Sons: Dennis Butler (Elaine), and Mike Butler (Lori)

Daughters: Linda Stooksbury (Terry), and Karen Wilson (Bill)

10 grandchildren

and a host of many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

along with many other friends and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, from 11:30 am till 1:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm ET. Graveside and interment services will be held in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Eureka Baptist Church in Rockwood, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Louise Butler.
