Betty Ellen Dean Keylon

Mrs. Betty Ellen Dean Keylon, age 86, of Grandview, TN passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026 in Knoxville, TN with her family by her side. She was born on March 21, 1940 to Frank Dean and Ruth Fox Dean in Detroit, MI. She worked at the steel mill for several years before becoming a saw operator at La-Z-Boy for 19 years until she retired. Betty was a member of Clymersville Baptist Church for many years. She loved being outdoors and working in her garden. When she was not gardening or trying to keep her husband, Wayne "Doc" Keylon straight, she enjoyed painting whatever she came across. She was  preceded in death by her parents: Frank Dean and Ruth Dean; sister: Frankie Smith; son: Brian Stricklan; daughter: Shelley Reed; and grandson: Jody Richardson. She is survived by:

Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements have been made and a Celebration of Life will take place in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm with Preacher Kelly officiating. Evans Mortuary is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Betty Keylon.
