William B. "Bill" Moore

Mr. William B. “Bill” Moore, age 85, a resident of Kingston, Tennessee passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Roane Medical Center, Harriman, Tennessee. He was born October 20, 1940, in Kingston, Tennessee. Mr. Moore was a member of the Braxton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Kingston, where he served as Usher and on the Kitchen Committee. He was a retired Concrete Finisher with U.S. Department of Energy K-25 Facility with 33 years of service and was also employed at Kinser Drug in Kingston for around 60 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and doing concrete work on the side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deanie & Mary Kate Moore; wife, Wyvetta Moore; brother, June Moore; sisters, Mary Rose Saffell and Mariah Harrison; nephews and niece, Michael Moore, Curtis Moore, Aaron Saffell, and Lorriane Harrison.

Daughter: Rosaline Simmons (Quincey) of Kingston, TN

Grandchildren: Ariel Little, Jasmine Houck (Michael), Jayda Moore, Lexy Turner, Stiles Moore, Maloria Moore, Jalen Moore, and Shauntel Fain

Great Grandchildren: Ashtyn, Jaxson, Willa Jane, and Remi

Brother: Rev. Joe Moore of Kingston, TN

Sisters: Lillie Davis of Decatur, GA

Susie Ann Collier of Kingston, TN

Dorothy Moore (Freddie) of Kingston, TN

Special Niece: Therasa Wilkerson of Kingston, TN

Special Nephew: Joe Moore, Jr. of Kingston, TN

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 12:00 noon from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Joe Moore officiating.
