Virginia Lea McCarroll

Virginia Lea McCarroll was welcomed by the Lord with open arms into Heaven on December 3rd, 2025. She was a resident of Rockwood, TN, and formerly lived in Hammond, Indiana. Virginia was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading her bible and Christian music. She loved sitting on her front porch and watching the sunrise & sunsets, and often spoke about her family of which she loved so much. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lawrence McCarroll; son: Larry McCarroll; parents: Robert and Mary Jones; brothers: Herbert, Herman, and Charles Jones; daughters-in-law: Cindy and Beverly; son-in-law: Richard Holcomb. She is survived by:

Brothers: Howard Jones (Cheri), Lloyd Jones (Barbara)

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Chaplain Jamie Johnson officiating. Graveside and interment services will follow in the Ollis Cemetery in the Blair community of Harriman/Oliver Springs. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Virginia Lea McCarroll.
