Ta-Shayna Nikole Davison

Ta-Shayna Nikole Davison a loving dedicated mother, sister, and aunt.  Beloved daughter of the late Annetta Johnson and Robert Davison passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022.  She was a 1997 graduate of Harriman High School and furthered her education at Roane State Community College receiving her Associates Degree.  Upon graduation she attended Middle Tennessee State University and ultimately  earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN in 2006.  Her goal was to serve the community as an accounting clerk to follow in her fathers footsteps.

Ta-Shayna began her walk with Christ as a young songstress at the Speights Chapel AME Zion Church at the age of 7.  Later becoming a member of the Bazeltown Baptist Church serving in the choir as well as other church committees.  She loved singing for Christ and being a part of the church family. As a child, Shayn enjoyed playing softball in the summer league and basketball with her many relatives.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted family:  son, Robert Cha-ize Anders: twin sister Shayla Davison-Brown (Levar) (Chattanooga, TN), sister Tara Frazier (Knoxville, TN),sister Ashley Chaput (Antioch,TN), sister Briana (Megan) Loller (Evansville, IN), brother Jordan Hardy (Warner-Robins, GA). She was met in heaven by her paternal grandfather John Davison Sr., paternal grandmother Bonnie Jordan Davison, maternal grandmother Bertha Johnson, and brother Travis Frazier.  She also leaves a host of special aunts Stephanie Floyd, Alice Chatman (Eddie Chatman, Sr.), uncles, close cousins, and other relatives.  She shared a special bond with cousin Eddie Chatman Jr. and friends, Latoya Johnson, Keyshia Love, and Jessica Jordan.

Ta-Shayna truly enjoyed life as a mother, family member and friend.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a funeral service following in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, Tennessee. Interment and graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee following the funeral service. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Ta-Shayna Davison.
