Susan McPherson Finger

Susan McPherson Finger, age 65, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Roane Medical Center, Harriman, Tennessee. She was born July 20, 1958, in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Susan was a 1976 graduate of Roane County High School in Kingston, Tennessee, where she was a very active member of the High School Band, and later she attended Roane State Community College. Her career path led her to several years of employment at Kmart, Chase Industries, Honda, and Jewelry TV. Susan was a very outgoing and fun-loving person who always had a joke to share. She loved music and played several musical instruments. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to crochet, even making her own wedding dress. Susan also loved to cook, and playing board games and cards with friends, especially Scrabble. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.C. & Emogene McPherson; and by her husband, Jack Finger.

Son: Daniel Gile of Rockwood, TN

Brother & Sister-in-law: Jay F. & Deborah McPherson of Kingston, TN

Nephew: Joseph McPherson of Kingston, TN

And several other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements have been made. A private family memorial service and interment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
