Sheryl Elizabeth Summers

Sheryl Elizabeth Summers, age 54, a resident of the Eblen Gap Community of Rockwood, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born June 2, 1970, in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She was a Substitute Teacher at Oakdale School in the Morgan County School System. Mrs. Sheryl loved hummingbirds, flowers, but most of all she dearly loved her family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph & Dorothy Hillebrand, and Grace Grove; and mother, Mary Grove.

Daughter: Anna Summers of Rockwood, TN

Son: Trevor Summers of Rockwood, TN

Father: John Grove of Knoxville, TN

Brother & Sister-in-law: Chad Grove (Robin) of Knoxville, TN

Niece: Haidyn Grove

Nephew: Colton Grove

Aunt & Uncle: Nancy & Gary Zuhlke of Maritt Island, FL

Special Friends: Alan & Kathie Jones of Oakdale, TN

And several Sisters-in-law, Brothers-in-law, Nieces, Nephew, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Pastor Mark Langley officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Pine Orchard Cemetery (New Section) in Oakdale, Tennessee.
