Shannon Thomas Mayton

Mr. Shannon Thomas Mayton, age 69 of Rockwood, TN, passed away at his home with his family by his side. He was born on January 28, 1957 to Henry Taylor Mayton and Dessie Lee Stapleton Mayton in Harriman, TN. He was a machinist for several years at Richards Industries and went on to work for Capstan and retired shortly after. He loved fishing and being outside as much as he could. When he watched tv it was usually on NASCAR or UT College Football. You would often find him piddling around outside with his animals or in the flower bed or garden. He will be missed by so many family and friends and his memories will be carried out through generations. He is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Dessie Mayton; sister: Freda "Susie" Mayton; and brother-in-law: Vance Gordon. He is survived by:

Granddaughter: Isabel Lynn Woods
