Rollin Eugene “Gene” Plemons

Mr. Rollin “Gene” Plemons, age 91 of Rockwood, TN passed away Monday, December 27, 2021. He was born January 13, 1930 in Rockwood, TN. He was the best dad and papaw anyone could ever wish for. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of Rockwood Lodge #403 F & AM, and a member of Clymersville Baptist Church. He worked and retired from Y-12 as a process operator. He is preceded in death by his parents: William and Molly Plemons; wife; Joyce Plemons; brothers: Bill, Ernest, and Raymond Plemons; sister: Bertha Smith; and nephew: Larry Simcox. He is survived by:

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 pm with a service to follow with Rev. Charles Kelly and Rev. Greg Kelley officiating. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Children’s Hospital or the Shriners foundation. Evans mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Rollin Eugene “Gene” Plemons.
