Robert Joseph "B.J." Adcox

Mr. Robert Joseph "B.J." Adcox, age 79 of Rockwood, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on December 5, 1945, in Rockwood. He was a member of the Clymersville Baptist Church in Rockwood. He was the former Vice President of C&C Bank & Bank of Roane County for 30 years. He later served as the finance manager for David Clifton Chevrolet in Rockwood for 10 years. He enjoyed baseball, golf, fishing, ice cream, and he was a proud supporter of the Harriman High School Baseball program. He is preceded in death by his parents: Earse & Bessie Adcox; Sisters: Catherine McDonald & Ruth Mynatt; Father-in-law: J.C. Kirkland. He is survived by:

Daughter: Amy Jenkins (Jason)

Son: Andy Adcox

Special Granddaughter: Alexis Melton (Zach)

3 Grandchildren: Hunter Clark, Tyler Jenkins (Sara), and Kaleigh Jenkins

3 Great Grandchildren: Addison Melton, Thatcher Melton, and River Jenkins

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 11:00 am -12:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Service will be at 12:00 pm ET with Rev. Charles Johnson and Bro. Jason Jenkins officiating. Graveside and interment service will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Robert Joseph "B.J." Adcox.
