Rebecca Sue Mitchell

Mrs. Rebecca Sue Mitchell, age 83, a resident of Birmingham, Alabama, and formerly of Roane County, Tennessee passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, in Birmingham. She was born September 16, 1942. She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, and deeply loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Geneva Trout; husband, Paul Griffin Mitchell; infant son, Jeffrey Paul Mitchell; brother, R.C. Trout; and sister, Jeffrey Paul Mitchell.

Sons: Mike Mitchell (Marnie) of Birmingham, AL

Mark Mitchell (& fiancée, Megan Hall) of Birmingham, AL

Grandchildren: Maddie Clare Torode (Elliot), Michael Paul Mitchell, Jr., and Skyler Fields

Brother: Don Trout of Harriman, TN

And several other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will meet on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee for Graveside services and interment with Randy Lee officiating. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Rebecca Sue Mitchell
