Rebecca "Becky" Delk Vaughn

Rebecca “Becky” Delk Vaughn, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2026.

Becky was born October 9, 1965, in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Lonza and Velma Delk. Becky grew up a “Navy Brat” as she liked to refer to herself. As a young mother she showed that navy brat strength and determination when she overcame a challenging health battle and rehabilitation. She found true love later in life, but that love brought out a light in her that shined brightly and could be seen from afar. Becky loved her kids, grandkids, and fur babies dearly. She didn’t miss an opportunity to show off pictures of them all. They were her pride and joy.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Lonza “Lonnie” Delk; mother, Velma Smith Delk; sister, Melinda Delk Brooks; and son-in-law, JimBob Barnes.

She is survived by her life partner Mike Kennedy; daughters, Crystal Barnes and Alexis (Art) Edwards; grandchildren, Caydence, Autumn, and AJ Edwards; brother-in-law, Ed Brooks; nephews, Chris (Amy) Lively and Michael Lively; fur babies, Archie, Booger, and Lucky; and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Though her passing was sudden, the love and memories she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Cremation arrangements have been made, and no formal public services are being scheduled. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Rebecca “Becky” Delk Vaughn.
