Noble “Eld” Brown

Noble “Eld” Brown passed away on March 13, 2021 at Signature HealthCARE of Rockwood, TN after a brief illness due to complications from a stroke. He was 92 years old. He had enjoyed his life fully and independently.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 62 years Esther Proffitt Brown. He is survived by his daughter Susan Brown Wells and son-in-law Kim Wells of Granger, IN, grandsons Brian and Ian Wells,  granddaughter-in law Robyn Winsett Wells all of Mishawaka, IN and great grandsons Noah and Isaac Wells. He is survived by brothers Grady, Edd, Charles, and Robert Brown, sister Brenda Layne, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother Joseph David Brown and sisters Unavee Bean and Ginny Daughtery. He is also survived by his special friend of 6 years, Joyce Robbins.

 

He retired from TVA Kingston Fossil Plant as a Unit Operator and instructor of such. He was a member of Daysville Baptist Church where he served as choir director and deacon for many decades. He was a WW II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.

 

Graveside services will be conducted by the Reverend Hascue Carter and military honors provided by the U.S. Army Honor guard and Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard at the Daysville Community Cemetery at 1:00 pm ET on Tuesday March, 16, 2021. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to HonorAir, https://honorairknoxville.com an organization that Noble held in high esteem and enjoyed immensely getting to participate in. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Noble “Eld” Brown.
