Mrs. Aida Ruth “Ruthie” Baker

Mrs. Aida Ruth “Ruthie” Baker, age 54, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 21, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Rockwood, Tennessee. Ruthie was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Rockwood. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Sister and was always there for everybody. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Pelfrey; mother, Glenda Foland; and step-father, Howard “Cotton” Foland.

Husband of 31 years:                      George Washington Baker of Rockwood, TN

Sons:                                                  Kyle Baker of Rockwood, TN

                                                            Jeffery Cole Baker of Rockwood, TN

Sister:                                                 Rosa Lee Dunn of Rockwood, TN

Nephews:                                          Joshua Johnson of Dayton, TN

                                                            Caleb Johnson of Dayton, TN

And several extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 5, 2019 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow in Friday, April 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Tim Steele officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Rockwood, Tennessee.
