Mr. William Howard Taft Green, Jr.

Mr. William Howard Taft Green Jr, age 76 of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at his home. He was a member and Deacon at Mountainview Baptist church in Rockwood, TN. Howard was a former employee of Roane Electric Furnace for 18 years and former employee of Rockwood Street Department for 8 years. He was preceded in death in by his parents, Taft and Rebecca Green; Grandson, Timothy Hickey; Brothers, Ed and Morgan Green, Charlie Wrought; sisters, Patricia Tosh, Sarah Cagle, Sue Howard and Thelma Green. Survivors Include: Wife of 59 years: Essie Mae Green of Rockwood, TN Children: Harold Green of Oakdale, TN Gail Kelly (Hugh) of Rockwood, TN Towana Smith of Rockwood, TN Mark Green (Missy) of Harriman, TN 8 Grandchildren Host of Great-Grandchildren Sister: Rose Frady (Ernest) of Kingston, TN Family will receive friends Monday, March 18, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. David Bailey officiating. Interment and Graveside will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
