Mr. Ronnie “Scott” Hamilton

Mr. Ronnie “Scott” Hamilton, age 52, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Roane Medical Center, Harriman, Tennessee. He was born July 13, 1968 in Rockwood, Tennessee and graduated from Rockwood High School. He was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran with 10 years of service, retiring as a Boatswains Mate 3rd Class, (E-4) serving on the U.S.S. Lexington CVT/AVT 16 and at the Naval Air Station in Norfolk, Virginia. After retirement, he was employed as a Relief Manager for Weigel’s working for several years at the Harriman (Midtown) store and most recently at the Kingston (Gallaher Road) store. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Rolland Hamilton; and brother-in-law, Patrick Redmon.

Survivors include:

Husband:                     Shane Hamilton of Rockwood, TN

Mother:                        Barbara Hamilton of Rockwood, TN

Daughter:                    Jena Hamilton & her fiancé, Justin Boyd of Rogersville, TN

Sisters:                        Teresa Redmon of Rockwood, TN

                                    Tammy Hamilton of Rockwood, TN

Brother/Nephew:         Josh Widner of Rockwood, TN

Sister/Niece:               Grace Brown (Cody Robinette) of Loudon, TN

And several special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Military honors will be given at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary by the U.S. Navy. Funeral services will follow on Sunday, January 3, 2021 with reflections and remembrances by family and friends. Cremation arrangements will follow.
