Mr. Jerry “Tommy” Gunter

Mr. Jerry “Tommy” Gunter, age 77 of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at his residence. He was of the Protestant Faith and was a good-hearted man. Mr. Gunter was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, an avid Nascar, Go-Cart enthusiast and a fan of the Tennessee Men’s Basketball. He retired from Bell South as a Repairman Installer. Mr. Gunter is preceded in death by his parents, Henry F. & Mae Gunter. Survivors include: Wife: Stormy Gunter of Rockwood, TN Brother: Bill Gunter (Rella Sue) of Kingston, TN Sisters: Jeanette Pelfrey of Smyrna, TN; Judy McElroy of Midtown Mother-in-law: Mary Melvin of Harriman, TN Sister-in-law: Donna Raney (Fred) of Midtown Nephew: Bill Gunter, Jr. of Kingston, TN Jerry “Buddy” Cook Niece: Emily Reeves of Calhoun, Ga Special Daughters: Debbie Turski & Becky Stevens Little T. the Cat The family will receive friends at Evans Mortuary on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 1:00-2:00pm. Graveside and Burial Services will follow in Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood with Rev. Ernie Willis officiating.
