Mr. Clarence Samuel “Sam” Parks

Mr. Clarence Samuel “Sam” Parks, age 82, of Harriman passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at home with his wife by his side. He was born June 3, 1938. He was of Baptist faith and enjoyed watching tv until his eyesight left him. He had been sick for several years. He left behind many friends and will be missed by all.  He is preceded in death by his daughter: Janet Parks Fussell; parents: Lena Parks Tucker and Orville Parks, Sr.; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 62 years:

Daughter: Jennifer Ann Parks

Son-in-law: Charles Ricky Shields

The family will have a graveside service, Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Roane Memorial Gardens. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer and Dementia Association of East Tennessee office: 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. Brandon Parton will officiate. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Clarence “Sam” Parks.
