Mary Lou Sherrill Green

Mary Lou Green, 90, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving children on Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was born on July 1, 1934 to Fred and Dorothy (Abston) Sherrill in Crab Orchard, Tennessee.

Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and love for the Lord. Mary was a seamstress for Aero Drapery in Jolietville, then retired from Indiana Mills in Westfield. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and taking care of her yard. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her sons, Steven Green and Doug (Louanne) Green; daughter, Donna Green; grandchildren, Jacob, Brock, Hailey, Chris, Josh, Casey, Tiffany, and Sean; great-grandchildren, Saya, Colton, Memphis, Sawyer, and Landon; and siblings, Charles (Kris) Sherrill, Patricia Swicegood, and Elizabeth (Tom) Couse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Donald Conrad Green; and siblings, Clarence Sherrill, James "Jim" Sherrill, Yvonne Norman, Glen Sherrill, and Kenneth Sherrill.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Services will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. /  (1:00 p.m C.S.T.) in the Dogwood Cemetery in Cumberland County, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is locally serving the family of Mrs. Mary Lou Sherrill Green.
