Mary Lou Branson McCuiston

Mary Lou Branson McCuiston, age 81 of Cookeville, formerly of Roane County, passed away on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025. She was born on may 7th, 1944, in Kingston. Mary was an avid sports fan and loved to watch her Lady Vols play. She was a member of Caney Ford Baptist Church when she lived here, and later joined Wilhite Baptist Church in Cookeville. She retired after working as a secretary at Roane State Community College. She is preceded in death by her parents: Harvey C. Branson & Anna E. Walker Branson; husband: Richard McCuiston; siblings: Don Branson, Marcella Branson Krevinko, and Wayne Branson. She is survived by:

Brother: Lowell Branson (Ann)

Sister-in-laws: Shirley Branson, Brenda Branson

and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends

Family and friends will meet for a graveside service on Friday, December 5th, 2025, at 2:00 pm ET in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, TN.
