Mary Ellen Lents Griffin

Ms. Mary Ellen Lents Griffin, age 92, of Rockwood, TN passed away April 30, 2025 at her home. She was born on December 6, 1932 to Melvin Lents and Lyda Jolley Lents in Rockwood, TN. She loved to sew in her younger years and worked for many years and retired from Kaiser- Roth Industries as a fixer. She also adored her church family. She is preceded in death by her parents: Melvin and Lyda Lents; brother: Charles Monroe Lents; and two sons: Charles Ray Griffin and Jeffrey McKinley Griffin. She is survived by:

Daughters: Janet Lynn Buchannon of Rockwood, TN

Sandra Kay Thompson of Rockwood, TN

Teresa Jean Shadden of Rockwood, TN

4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren

2 Nephews and one Niece
