Martha Ann Eaton Young

Mrs. Martha Ann Eaton Young, age 82, a resident of the Daysville Community of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 2, 2026, with her two daughters by her side. She was born May 2, 1943, in Rockwood, Tennessee. Martha Ann was a member of the Rockwood Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, sewing and quilting, and cooking for her family. Her greatest enjoyment was her family, especially her grandsons, because they were the light of her life. Martha struggled with blindness, but always kept the Faith, and now her Faith is Sight! She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Stella Eaton; husband, J.B. Young; infant children, Michael Young, and Alice Young; and siblings, Jimmy Eaton, Billy Eaton, Rolland Eaton, Jerry Eaton, Donny Eaton, and Carol Teague.

Grandchildren: Andrew McCreary (Lindsey) of Knoxville, TN

Larry Eaton (Faye) of Rockwood, TN

Sisters-in-law: Linda Eaton of Rockwood, TN

Marcia Eaton of Rockwood, TN

Special Friend: Carol Smith of Pine Orchard, TN

And a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice for all of their care and compassion. 

The family will receive friends Friday, April 10, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) until 8:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) at the Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (E.D.T.) in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee with Bro. Kendall Bear officiating.
