Margaret Pat Morgan

Margaret "Pat" Morgan, age 97 of Knoxville, formerly of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 4th, 2026, at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. Pat was born on November 24th, 1928, in the Stainsville community. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and so much more. Her nicknames were countless between all of her loved ones and she cherished them all. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rockwood since the early 1950's. Her faith was evident to everyone who knew her and her relationship with Christ was important to her. She was happy to share that joy and the gospel with those she talked with. 

Pat worked across many businesses throughout her life. She worked with her husband when they owned and operated the Cumberland Music Company, She later went on to work at Cumberland Crafts and then helped her late son, Mark, with his communications company, CSGI. 

Pat was no stranger to anyone. She was a people person who loved to be out and speak to people. She had many joys in life but her family remained her top priority always. The time she got to spend with her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was also quite the cook and loved to take the time to feed anyone she had the chance to. 

She is preceded in death by her husband: Leslie Ray Morgan; parents: Ancil Patrick & Eliza Litton Patrick; children: Mark Morgan, Lisa Morgan, Donald Morgan, and an infant child; and her 9 siblings. She is survived by:

Daughter & Son-in-law: Ginger Chapman & husband, Bedford

Grandchildren: Jason Morgan (Emily), Erica Wilkens (Jordan), Carmen Preuss, Corey Morgan (Kami), Alyx Wheeler (Cody), and Hanna Chesney (Matt)

12 great grandchildren

and many nieces, nephews, and other special extended family members, friends, and church family. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, from 1:00 pm ET till 3:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Memorial service will start at 3:00 pm ET. Cremation arrangements have been made and a private interment will be held at a later date in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mrs. Margaret "Pat" Morgan.
