Kathleen Kay Cottrell

Kathleen Cottrell, 74, went home to be with Jesus on October 10th, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, JD Cottrell of 66 years. She had 2 children, Dennis Cottrell (who passed away in 1991), and a daughter, Sandra Moudy of Kingston, TN, whom she lived with.

She enjoyed going to church, studying the word of God, and spending time with her family. She lived her life knowing that one day, she would get to see her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ face to face.

She attended the Pentecostal Lighthouse church in Harriman, TN.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Moudy of Kingston, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Grand daughter: Alisha (Travis Paul) Moudy and Great grandson Travis Paul.

Grand daughter: Heather Michelle (Robert) McMahan

Grand daughter: Lindsay (Warren) Lavender and Great grand daughter Skyla Lavender

Grand daughter: Jessica ( Edwin) Lewallen and Great grandson JD Logan Lewallen.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and her cat Spunky.

Cremation services have been made by the family. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Ms. Kathleen Cottrell.
