Karen Charlene Givens

Karen Charlene Givens, age 67, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born on June 5, 1957, in Rockwood. Karen and her late husband, Tommy, were co-owners of Jerry's Gulf, TR's Used Cars, & KC's mini storage. She was an avid reader and loved to listen to music. George Strait was her favorite artist and she was fortunate to get to see him in concert three times. She is preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Givens; parents: Charles Norman Sr & Hattie Lucille Sexton Hennessey; step father: Harold Hennessey; siblings: Nancy Robinson (Tim), Charles Norman Jr; great nephews: Jaren Daniels, Trevor Lane Sircy. She is survived by:

Daughter: Tina Givens-Davenport (David)

Grandchildren: J.J. Eaton (Kierstein)

Great Grandchild: Kayson McFarland

Brother: Tommy Staggs (Yvonne)

Nephews: Steve Staggs (Sheila), Tanner Sexton, and Shane Day

Great Nieces: Skyla & Laney

Special son-in-law: Junior Eaton

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Graveside and interment service will follow on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm ET in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockwood with Rev. Greg Kelly officiating. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Karen Charlene Givens.
