Joyce Ann Hickey Robbins

Mrs. Joyce Ann Hickey Robbins, age 86, a resident of the Glen Alice community of Rockwood, Tennessee went home to be with Our Heavenly Father with her family by her side on Saturday, September 5, 2026, and is now singing in the Heavenly Choir. She was born May 29, 1940, in Rockwood, Tennessee. Mrs. Robbins was a member of the Glen Alice Christian Church and attended the Mountain View Church of Christ, the First Christian Church of Harriman, and the Daysville Baptist Church. She was a retired Quality Engineer with Kayser Roth in Rockwood, and after retirement also worked at the Glen Alice Convenience Center. She also served as a Poll Worker with the Roane County Election Commission at the Glen Alice Precinct for many years. Some of her hobbies include driving her car, getting out in the sunshine, and people watching.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn “Gee” & Lou Ella Hickey; husband, Doyle Robbins; sisters, Gail Taylor, Vnona Jones (Sherman), and Mary Ellen Hickey; and brothers, Jerry Hickey, and “Buddy” Hickey.

Kim “Kimbo” Robbins of Laura, OH

Son & Daughter-in-law: Kevin Robbins (Teresa) of Wartburg, TN

Grandchildren: Heath Davidson (Bridgett), Heather Davidson, Hunter Robbins (T.J.), Kolby Robbins (Cholie), Alizah “A.J.” Davis, Bristol Wright, Jeremy Shannon (Amanda), D.J. Shannon (Savannah), and Zach Shannon

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Bud Strader officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Joyce Ann Hickey Robbins.
