Joe Frank Gillam

Mr. Joe Frank Gillam, age 65 of Rockwood, passed away on Friday, November 14th, 2025. He was born on September 16th, 1960, in South Carolina. Mr. Joe was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish when he was able to. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an automotive enthusiast. He worked primarily in his life as an automotive mechanic. He and his wife moved to the area in 1999 and have resided here ever since. He is preceded in death by his mother: Katie Wertz; and siblings: Slumpy Wertz, Ernie Wertz, and Margaret Hammond. He is survived by:

and a host of siblings and other extended family members and friends. 

Cremation arrangements have been made and no services are to be held at this time. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Joe Frank Gillam.
