Jerry Barton Boles

Mr. Jerry Barton Boles, age 71, of Rockwood, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on March 26, 1953, to Morgan Howard Boles and Katherine Bramlett Boles in Dayton, TN. Jerry started in the automotive repair business at the age of 15 and loved it so much that he continued in automotive repairs and was able to have his own shop called Boles Body Shop. Not only did he complete repairs to numerous vehicles, but he also took up antique auto restorations. He traveled to many states with his wife Rebecca Diane Boles to sell antique auto parts and enjoy all the sights they could during their hikes in many national parks. Jerry and Rebecca Boles have celebrated 48 years of marriage. He loved everything TN Vols and would watch every sport they played; he was a proud Tennessee Volunteer fan. Jerry also enjoyed raising beagles and training them to hunt rabbits and taking his sons and numerous hunting buddies would load up the truck and all of their beagles just to enjoy time with his family. Most of all, Jerry loved his family. His face always lit up whenever he saw his family, but especially for his grandchildren, nephew, niece, and 3 great granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his parents: Morgan Howard Boles and Katherine Bramlett Boles; and brothers: Richard Boles and Randy Boles. He is survived by:

Cremation arrangements have been made at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held for Jerry on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 12:00 pm- 4:00 pm at the Rhea County Welcome Center, 107 Main St, Dayton, TN 37321. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Jerry Barton Boles.
