Janice Britt Cunningham

Ms. Janice Britt Cunningham, age 83, of Rockwood, TN passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at her home. She was born on January 9, 1942 to Jesse David Britt and Elsie Fay Ragsdale Britt in Greeneville, TN. Janice was a seamstress in the sewing department at Alba Health where she was able to retire. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rockwood, TN. Ms. Janice loved to sew and quilt in her free time. She is preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Elsie Britt; daughter: Tina Crisp, sister: Mary Hamby. She is survived by:

Daughter: Lisa Cobb                                                     of Rockwood, TN

5 Grandchildren: Wesley (Jennifer) Cunningham, Jason Cunningham (Cynthia), Brittany Watlington (Jesse), Allie Patterson (Charlie), and Carly Schrader (Roy) 

8 Great grandchildren

Niece: Kim Vanover (Richard)

Nephew: Rod Hamby (Rebecca)

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Roane County Animal Shelter. Family will have an immediate burial at Oak Grove Cemetery on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mike Winters. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Ms. Janice Britt Cunningham.
