Janet Lynn Webster

Janet Lynn Webster, age 70, passed away on Saturday August 15, 2026, at the Roane Medical Center, Harriman, Tennessee. Janet was born August 13, 1956. She was the youngest of eleven siblings. Anyone who knew Janet loved her, as she was special to so many.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Zettia Webster; her siblings, Sue Webster, Pat (Tommy) Hurst, Fay (Benny) Simon, Diane Webster Kirby, and Donnie Webster; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Swenson.

She is survived by her siblings, Helen (Don) Mitts of California, Edna Swenson of Harriman, Cotton (Rita) Webster of Harriman, Earl (Sara) Webster of Lenoir City, and Darrell (Vivian Russell) Webster of Harriman; her sister-in-law, Janice Webster of Harriman; and her brother-in-law, Mike Kirby of Rockwood. She is also survived by her special niece, Shanda (Jeff) Kring of Coalfield, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff and caregivers at The Michael Dunn Center for the kindness, compassion, and dedicated care they provided to Janet throughout the years.

Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tennessee for Graveside services and interment with Bro. Eddie Neeley officiating. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Janet Lynn Webster.
