James "Jim" William Sexton

James William Sexton, “Jim”, died peacefully July 28 at Parkwest hospital. Born January 30 1959 to parents Doc L Sexton and Winnie Elizabeth Sexton. Jim grew up in Solway and lived there until relocating to Morgan county in 2021 and made many friends along the way. Jim was wild at heart and loved laughing and being on a motorcycle. He was known to be honest to a fault but always held a playful air about him. His jokes and goofiness will be missed by all who knew him. He left behind 2 children Elizabeth (Noah) Harris and Jamie (Erica) Sexton. Also left behind was his “best” buddy as he often quoted, whose name is Emberly Harris (granddaughter) they shared many special memories together. Jim would often spend time with Emberly, whether it was playing tea party, Barbie’s, or sharing a popsicle. His family will forever hold the special memories that Jim left behind on his earthly journey. A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club in Midtown Saturday, August 8, 4-6 pm.
