James Lochan Dillon

Mr. James Lochan Dillon, age 85 of Rockwood, passed away on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 27th, 1941, in Virginia. James was a US Navy Veteran who proudly served. He later worked with the United States Postal Service for 30+ years before retirement. He was a loving husband, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many. He enjoyed photography and staying busy as a handyman. He loved working with is hands and always found himself serving as the handyman wherever he and his family lived throughout their lives. He is preceded in death by his parents: James Dillon & Elizabeth Reynolds Dillon; and his granddaughter: Christopher Knutson. He is survived by:

Wife of 35 years: Carolyn Dillon

Children: "Rusty" Dillon (Jill), Kristen Knutson, and Kevin Dillon (Eve)

Grandchildren: Travis, Jake, Nicole, Lauren, and Kelsey

Great Granddaughter: Sierra Kate

Brother: Michael

Sister: Debbie

and a host of other family members and friends. 

Cremation arrangements have been made and no services are being held at this time. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. James L. Dillon.
