Ivory Ann & Mattie Shay Nelson

Ivory Ann Nelson & Mattie Shay Nelson passed away peacefully in the arms of family on October 7th, 2025. Ivory Ann was born at 8:34 pm and Mattie Shay was born at 8:36, and then met the Lord shortly after the same day. Ivory and Mattie are the daughters of Marcus and Laken Nelson. The girls are survived by their big sister, Naomi Nelson and big brother; Colton Nelson

Grandparents: Terri & Brad Nelson, Heather Davidson, Fred & Sandy Robertson, Wayne & Reba Nelson, and Johnny & Mona Devine

Aunt: Chelsey Smith

Uncles: Tommy Gardner (Kyler) and Evan Gardner

The best big cousins: Lyla Gardner, Kara Gardner, Cannon Gardner

along with a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins, and other friends and extended family.

Graveside and interment services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm ET at the Pine Orchard Baptist Church Cemetery in Oakdale, TN, with their papaw, Preacher Wayne Nelson officiating. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Ivory Ann & Mattie Shay Nelson.
