Hallie May (Prevo) Parris, age 60, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at her home after a battle with lung cancer. Hallie was born on February 24, 1964, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, to her parents, Emil & Vivian Prevo.

Hallie Enjoyed gardening, playing cards and going to yard sales. She was also an exceptional baker and loved to bake at Christmas time. She enjoyed having her coffee on the porch everyday with Sara too. She loved her grandchildren dearly. She cherished the time she would get to spend with all of her family, whether it was at a family reunion, a cookout, or just being at home with them.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Emil & Vivian Prevo; brother: Jerry Prevo; and 4 sisters: Kathy Adams, Alena Hill, Vena Noble, and Caroilne Prevo.

She is survived by:

Husband: Norman Parris

Sons: Douglas Prevo, Charles George (Angie), and Shawn Waugh (Kayla)

Her niece that became like the daughter she never had: Sara Rudd (Donald) 

Sister: Evelyn Bouchata

Brothers: Tony Prevo, Larry Prevo

and 6 grandchildren with several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. 

A private family graveside will be held in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood. A celebration of life service will be held on October 25-27th at the family home, located at 370 Waldo Rd, Rockwood, TN 37854. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Hallie May Prevo Parris.
