Gene Sills

Mr. Gene Sills, age 91, a resident of Caney Ford community of Roane County, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Roane Medical Center, Harriman, Tennessee. He was born August 9, 1933, in Wildwood, Georgia. He was baptized at the Caney Ford Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed showing Tennessee Walking Horses. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sills, and Ada Mae Breedlove; sister, Muriel Brown; and brother, Jimmy Sills.

Teresa Taylor (Randy)

4 Stepchildren

A host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

And several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Family and friends will meet on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee with Rev. Mark McCoig officiating. Military honors will be given by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Mr. Gene Sills.
