Dylan Ray Hill

Dylan Ray Hill, age 26 of Rockwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. He was born on June 13th, 1999. He was a 2018 graduate of Rockwood High School. Dylan graduated TCAT with his certification for cosmetology in 2020 and then went on to work for Metropolis in Knoxville. Dylan battled for 4 years after complications from the covid vaccine booster and fought till the very end. He was a loving son, brother, cousin, and best friend. Dylan was a jokester. He was always trying to scare someone and have fun. He would do anything for his friends and family. He had a wonderful and kind heart if he liked you. He loved his mother and brother dearly. Dylan loved concerts and movies, particularly horror films. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and listening to his albums. The loves of his life were his little fur babies, Little Man and Pearl. Dylan was a true one-of-a-kind person that didn't care what anybody said or thought of him. He would always tell you like it was. He definitely loved the color black also. Dylan will be forever be loved and missed by all who loved him but we will all carry his memory on in our hearts forever and always, until we meet again. 

He is preceded in death by his father: James P. Hill; grandparents: Betty & Junior Young, Gene & Dana Hill; aunt: Gail Barnes; uncle: Tommy "Shaky" Young, and Johnny Ray "Onion" Hill. He is survived by:

Mother: Tonya Kay Hill

Brother: James Matthew Hill "PUP"

Special 1st cousin: Christopher Thomas Young, who Dylan was raised with and was always there to help care for him till the very end

Brian Barnes, Heather Young, Makalee Barnes, Scottie and Isaiah Jones, Hunter and Cameron Hill

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 7th, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm ET with Bro. Bobby Lee officiating. Graveside and interment services will be held on Friday, May 8th, 2026, at 1:00 pm ET in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Dylan Ray Hill.
