Darren Heath Lawson Sr

Darren Heath Lawson Sr, age 57 of Rockwood, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. Darren was born on August 18, 1968, in Rockwood, TN. He loved collecting knives, telling stories, making jokes but especially loved taking rides through the mountains. Darren worked as a roofer in Roane and surrounding counties for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother: Elizabeth Jane Lawson; and his grandparents: Morgan and Pearl Powers, all of Rockwood. He is survived by:

4 Children: Heather Elizabeth Lawson, Darren Heath Lawson Jr, Isaac Robert William Lawson, and Lila Jane Lawson

Granddaughters: Ashlynn Shea and Tammy Marie Davis

Father: Robert Lawson Sr

Sisters: Leila (Bill) Bridges, Rina (Darrell) Brackett, and Lisa (Bill) Turner

Brother: Robert (Karen) Lawson Jr

and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews
