Carolyn Christine Ledford Oney

Ms. Carolyn Christine Ledford Oney, age 95, of Spring City, TN passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 with her family by her side. She was born on May 31, 1931 to Festus Adolf Ledford and Dorothy Mae Sweat Ledford in Lancing, TN. She married her best friend, Oscar Oney, and spent several wonderful years with him. She loved sewing and became a seamstress for several years. Christine loved to garden, cook and go on walks with her family as much as possible. She is preceded in death by her parents: F.A. Ledford and Dorothy Ledford; husband: Oscar Oney; son: Randall Oney; and brothers: Truman Ledford and L.H. Ledford. She is survived by:

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Evans Mortuary Chapel with a service beginning at 12:00 pm with Rev. John Eldridge officiating. Interment will take place at Spring City Cemetery after the service. Evans Mortuary is honored to serve the family of Ms. Christine Oney.
