Billy Joe Woods

Mr. Billy Joe Woods, age 48 of Lenoir City, formerly of Harriman, passed away on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. He was born on June 26th, 1977, in Spain. He was a US Army veteran who proudly served during the Iraq war. He was also a music fan. He loved to watch the Tennessee Vols, cooking, and enjoyed food. He was a loving and great husband, father, brother, son, friend and overall protector of his family. He is preceded in death by his father: Billy Woods, and his nephew: Damian Woods. He is survived by:

Wife: Janeen Glover-Woods

Children: Sierra Gottschalk, Marisa Woods, Katlynn Woods, and Billy Austin Woods

Stepchildren: Angela Carbuccia, Jenna Manning (Thomas) and their kids: Zaria Carbuccia and Maelee Manning

Mother: Amalia Woods

Siblings: Amalia "Amy" Woods and David Woods

Nieces & Nephews: David Alexander, Madison Woods, Emma Woods, Isabel Woods, Addison Burhans, and Savannah Burhans

Great Niece & Nephew: Makena, Tucker, and Bobby

Sister and Brother-in-law: Michelle & Nathan Burhans

Mother & Father-in-law: Elizabeth & Lyle Glover

and many extended family members and friends, and his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in Spain. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, from 12:00pm ET till 1:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm ET with full military honors presented by the US Army Honor Guard and the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Billy Joe Woods.
