Mrs. Betty J. Lloyd, age 84, a resident of Kingston, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Signature Healthcare Center in Rockwood, Tennessee. She was born June 3, 1940, in Aflex, in Pike County, Kentucky. She was a member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Harriman, Tennessee and was Co-Owner with her husband of Lloyd Sign Company in Kingston for many years. Foremost, she enjoyed reading her Bible and going to church, but she also enjoyed watching gameshows. She dearly loved her family but especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Sarah Wolford; husband, Joseph A. Lloyd III; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include:

Son & Daughter-in-law: Gregory Lloyd (Felicia) of Kingston, TN

Grandchildren: Amanda Duguay (Tom) of Greenville, TN

Joseph G. Lloyd of Kingston, TN

Great Grandchildren: T.J. Duguay, Isaiah Duguay, Katelyn Duguay, and Aiden Duguay

And several other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will meet on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tennessee for Graveside services where Mrs. Lloyd will be laid to rest with her husband. The services will be officiated by Pastor Harlon McBride. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Betty J. Lloyd.
