Barbara "Bobbie" Scarborough

Mrs. Barbara “Bobbie” Scarborough, age 88, a resident of Holly, Michigan, formerly of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Sunday, March 28, 2026, at the Concord Place Assisted Living in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born March 27, 1938. She was a graduate of Rockwood High School and worked at the former Jack’s Drive-In in her younger years. Bobbie was a Devoted Wife and Mother and an excellent gardener, a talent she passed on to some of her family. She taught her family many lessons and always talked to and made friends with her children’s friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Charles Scarborough; infant daughter, Karen Ann Scarborough; sister Nancy Scarborough; and brothers, Ferrell Beene, and Charles Paul Beene.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee.
