Barbara Edna McDaniel

Ms. Barbara Edna Stricklan McDaniel, age 67, of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 14, 1958 to Louis Stricklan and Dossie Edwards Stricklan at Chamberlain Memorial in Rockwood, Tennessee. She married to love of her life Carl McDaniel. She was a member of the Harriman Church of God of Prophecy and she held the most love and faithfulness for her God. Barbara had an amazing voice and used to have a family gospel band in which she would lead the singing. She adored cooking and making holiday candy for everyone that she could. Most of all, she loved her family more than anything. She will be missed and loved by many. She is preceded in death by her husband: Carl McDaniel; parents: Louis and Dossie Stricklan; son: Carl "Doodle" McDaniel Jr.; daughter: April Taylor; sister: Bonnie Lyke; and brothers: Eddie Stricklan, Chuck Stricklan, and Danny Newby. She is survived by:

Great grandchildren: Kamber, Emeryn, Ilagail, Cristian, Wyatt

Along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date and cremation arrangements have been made. Evans Mortuary is honored to serve the family of Ms. Barbara McDaniel.
