In Loving Memory of Alia Grace Cofer

Alia Grace Cofer, 44, passed away on July 1, 2026, leaving behind family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Alia was a beloved daughter, mother, sister by choice, and friend whose love touched countless lives. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Shelia Cofer, whom she missed dearly.

She is survived by her devoted father, Alvin Cofer; her beloved son, Zayvias James Cofer; Zayvias' father, Carl Worthington; her sister by choice and best friend, Kristy Castellanos; and Kristy's children, Josh Castellanos, Austin Castellanos, Aiden Russell, and Noah Russell, whom Alia loved as her own.

She also leaves behind her four cherished cats—Asta, Toby, Nermal, and Psycho—who were treasured members of her family and brought her endless love, comfort, and companionship.

Alia had the biggest heart and found joy in the simple things that made life beautiful. She loved shopping, expressing her creativity through nail art, and, most of all, spoiling the people she loved. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she never missed an opportunity to make someone smile or remind them they were loved.

Though her time with us was far too short, Alia's love, kindness, generosity, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her family and friends will carry her memory with them always, finding comfort in the countless moments of laughter, love, and unwavering friendship she shared.

No formal public services are being scheduled. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Alia Grace Cofer.
