Mrs. Hazel Louise “Momma Rabbit” Grigsby, age 78, of N. Gateway Avenue, Rockwood, TN, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007 in the Roane Medical Center in Harriman. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Rockwood. Preceded in death by husband, Claude “Daddy Rabbit” Grigsby; mother, Annie Cagle; father, Austie Newman; Step-grandson, Gary Bowling; brother, Carter Newman; aunt, Jewie Billings.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Rick Roberts officiating. Graveside service will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
